VeggieAtlas was cooked up while wandering the world, searching for the ultimate veggie eating experience. I found not only amazing food, but generous people and a wealth of veggie dishes where I expected none.
It is currently a hotchpotch of many things and while I have grand intentions of exploring the culture and history behind veggie cuisine, at its core is a celebration of veggie food and of people working to end animal cruelty one meal at a time.
I’ve been a vegetarian (who eats very little dairy/eggs) for almost 20 years and am passionate about good, whole, chemical-free food. I buy predominately from farmers’ markets and try to buy biodynamic, organic or spray-free ingredients whenever possible. It’s not an expensive way to live if you eat what’s in season and I believe in the long run it makes environmental, economical and spiritual sense.
I would love to hear from you if you have questions, ideas or info that may suit this blog. I can be contacted through veggieatlas(at)gmail.com
I wish you health, happiness and, of course, amazing veggie food adventures!
All the best,
Jacqueline

Hello veggie atlas! Love the concept of your blog – I think the header is really clever and apt, too!
Look forward to reading more about the world through the eyes of veggie food.

Hi veggie girl
I am cooking up your dish tomorrow night… and seeing as your dishes are seasonal I am going to cook them each week and follow you. Thanks for the inspiration- very easy to read and very accessible.
